Is there a minimum order quantity?
We request a minimum order of 100 units for any branded items

 

Can you engrave in colour?
Unfortunately not. Our moulding and engraving technology does not allow the use of
colour on sweets and biscuits. We can, however, finish off your order with boxes,
packaging or ribbons in the colour of your choice.

Can I use different coloured ribbons on a unit?
Absolutely! Be sure to mention this when you discuss your order with us.

 

What is the size of each unit?
– 5cm units are 5cm x 3.2cm x 2cm (Fudge & Nougat)
– 7cm units are 7cm x 3.2cm x 2cm (Fudge & Nougat)
– 15cm units are 15cm x 3.2cm x 2cm (Nougat Only)

 

How many letters fit on each unit?
We usually do not recommend more than three lines of text. The more text you
have, the smaller the font will need to be. We will always advise you
if text is too lengthy and will offer alternatives.

 

Do you charge per engraved letter?
No, we charge a once-off artwork and stencil fee. (We will always advise you
if your required engraving will not fit suitably on the unit you’ve ordered.)

 

What is the cost of the artwork/stencil fee if I want to engrave a different name on each unit (e.g. for place cards)?
In this case, we charge an additional cost per unit over and above the
standard once-off artwork/stencil fee. Contact us to chat about the finer details of your order.

 

How much notice do I need to give for an order?
We need 7-10 days notice for orders under 500 units. For orders greater than 500
units, we need 3 weeks’ notice. If there is a very urgent request, please contact us
and we will do our best to accommodate your request, depending on
our queue of orders. We have at times managed miracles!

 

Once I have placed the order, when will you start creating it?
We start the order about a week before the due date of collection/delivery,
to ensure the products are fresh and tasty. Placing your order early
secures your place in our queue of orders and at the current prices.

 

What is the shelf life of the products?
The fudge and nougat have a shelf life of a month and a half.
The biscuits have a shelf life of about 3 weeks.

 

How do I pay?
Once you have placed your order, you will be emailed a proof with the artwork to approve.
You will also be emailed our banking details. To process an order,
we require a signed proof AND a 50% deposit slip faxed/emailed to us.
The remaining balance can be paid upon collection or delivery,
with cash or EFT (proof of payment required).

 

Can I bring my own ribbon?
Yes! You are welcome to supply us with ribbon to tie.
The order will be charged slightly less per unit.

Can I bring a little thank you tag to attach to the gift?
Yes. You may bring your own tags for us to tie (though we
will charge an additional cost per unit for the labour cost).

When can I collect?
You will be notified by email when your order is ready for collection
or ready to be delivered. In the case of collections,
our physical address in Edenvale will be provided to you by email.

 

Can I visit your showroom?
We do not have a showroom but you are welcome to order a sample at
a special sample rate. To do so, please contact us. We do not allow
more than 2 samples per unit size.
